Am sad to know that Carrie passed away and that we hadn't stayed in touch for some years now. I met Carrie through a former housemate's sister and she became the best ever cat sitter when I went on vacations. She painted a beautiful watercolor of my cats during that time, which I love. I stayed in touch with her until she left her job managing a frame shop in Hillsboro. I always thought of her as a character who was determined, feisty, kind and responsible.
