Carolyn H. Howard born on December 29, 1940 in Washington DC went to be with Our Lord on June 11, 2020 at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester Harris Sr. and Dorothy Williams Harris; sisters, Jane Parks, and Rita Floyd; brothers, Lester Harris Jr., Stanley Harris, Jimmy Harris, David Harris, and Benny Harris.
She is survived by her loving children, daughter, Felicia Capers and husband, Lorenzo; sons, David Howard and wife, Dianne, Stephen Howard, and Christopher Howard and wife, Elizabeth; sisters, Dorothy Gray, Peggy Hannah, and Phyllis Lewis; grandchildren: Michael, Keith and wife Keyeria, Tiana, Kennedy, Talia Barba and husband Angel, Kameron, Jacqelyn, Lauren, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren: K-Aaliyah and K’Amari; numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. for the public, with a private Rosary at 7:00 P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel. On Thursday, June 18, 2020 family and friends will meet at 9:00 A.M. for a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (9883 Marbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78245).
Interment will take place at 2:00 P.M. at The Cordi-Marian Resurrection Cemetery. with limited allowance of participants.

Mrs. Howard was truly an angel here on earth. She was always happy, fun, and always had a kind spirit and the most beautiful smile with an unforgettable contagious laugh that would bring so much joy to everyone's heart that knew her.
