Kaki was an inspiration to me as we worked at Kaiser Permanente from the 1980s through the early 2000s; Kaki in Hawaii and I in Colorado. She always looked for ways to improve the lives of staff at KP and made her Human Resources Dept. a model for the rest of us throughout KP nationally. She did not just speak about how to treat the people of KP better, but was successful in supporting a culture of "Taking Care of Patients and Employees like Family"...a lasting legacy of hers that I´m sure...

Hi Kristen & Family, My name is Wilma Sambrano RN & I wirked with your Mom for many years at Kaiser. She was such a Kind, Bubbly & Compassionate Spirit that lit up any room she was in!!! I Luved Kaki & it Deeply Saddened Me to hear of her passing. May I ask what happened to her?
