Not sure what to say?

Like the candle that always burned in her kitchen window, may the light of Carolyn's love continue to live on in the many whose lives she touched. She will be truly missed.

With love and sympathy,

A huge loss for the Raleigh community. Carolyn was so giving of herself to all. Our sympathy to the family and prayers for God's strength during this time. We knew Carolyn through Method Day Care and First Congregational Church. We go back even further to VBS at Reedy Creek with the four churches. What a growing together time that was! Blessings!

A warm and tendered sprit for peace, justice and equality. Sure with the Lord would bestow upon us more people like Cy and Carolyn King.

Carolyn's soul is assuredly reserved to rest amongst the eternal angles.

Cy, even though I didn't get to meet you and Carolyn until fairly recently, I grasped very early what a remarkable woman Carolyn was. Thank you and her for sharing your wisdom with our Study Circle group.

Cy, I am so sorry for our loss. Carolyn was a dedicated friend, supporter and loving Democrat for women issues in Wake County. She will be truly missed. Lindy Brown, Former Wake County Commissioner and WomenNC Member

Our wishes for God to continue to strenghten your family in the loss of a beautiful, caring servant. Mrs. King was our daughter's kindergarten teacher at Manly Street Christian Church in the 60's. A solid foundation did she give our daughter. Blessings to you, King Family!

Carolyn was a leader in every job she accepted. The members of the Older Women's League appreciated her willingness to accept the presidency, even while battling cancer. It was my honor to know her and to help when I could. There will never be anyone just like her, but one wishes there were more who embraced her ideals.

Cy, very sad to learn that you had lost Carolyn. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I will remember Carolyn as a nurturer and a stalwart peace activist. She always greeted me (and many others) with a hug and a kind word. Her spirit will remain with Cy and all those who loved her.
