Carolyn Managan

May the love of God, friends and family carry you through your grief. We are retired in Alabama, also reaching 50 years. Sounds like Carolyn will be remembered as having a well lived life. Our friend told us it was a tender sweet funeral. Prayers and deepest sympathy.

I taught Math at Cy-Fair High School with Carolyn between 1974 and 1978. Even after all these years I remember what a very special person she was, very bright and full of life. I'm terribly sorry to hear of her passing.

Carolyn and I were classmates in Arkansas City. We were in the same confirmation class at Trinity Church. She is definitely one of the brightest people I know, with a strong commitment to education and her community. A teacher to the end, her fight with ALS can teach us all many lessons.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Managan at Cy-Fair High School in the late 1970's. Most specifically her teaching talent and extraordinary patience with her students. With deepest sympathy, I pray her loved ones find peace during this difficult time.

While I will never profess to loving math, I loved having Mrs. Managan as my math teacher. She always had a sparkle in her eye and a thousand ways to make scary topics like graphing and sohcahtoa a little less scary.

She was a fine teacher to so many of us. Wishing her family peace and sending our deepest sympathies.

I co-hosted with Carolyn for P.E.O. meetings, and she made them a highlight. She was most gracious. I always enjoyed being around her and appreciated her.
