Reading these entries, brings back so many memories of the years we lived and played in Vida as children. Carolyn and I were the luckiest kids in the world to have a mother like Bamy. Over the years Carolyn and I became best friends and spent much time together at our home in Curacao, N.A. Even in her last days, she felt she could make one more trip. Dear Lisa and Dana,
Your mother was a remarkable lady. She had so many positive qualilties: strength of character, humor, honesty, patience, just to mention a few. She was a loyal friend; we had many good times and laughs together. I still have the Christmas stocking she made for my daughter, Greta. I will miss her dearly, but am relieved that she no longer has to fight and suffer.
