Not sure what to say?

She was a wonderful person and a great teacher and friend.

Since Carolyns passing Pennies started showing up everywhere. For real!! I miss her infectious energy and friendship.

To Mike and family,
Very sorry to hear about your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have fond memories of your mother from 7th grade German class at Pennbrooke. I also remember how friendly she was and how much she supported NP football. Hang in there Mike.

Please accept our sympathy and friendship on the loss of Carolyn. She was a wonderful mother , teacher, colleague and friend. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Edythe and Samuel Newman and family

Carolyn was one-of-a-kind. A fighter for children and public education and a lifelong educator inspiring hundreds of children. We will never forget all that you have done for our children. While you are no longer with us, your light will shine on in those of us who carry on your legacy.

Mike and family, so very sorry to hear of your Moms passing. She will be missed. I looked forward to seeing her and her German Club kids at the Washington House October fest dinners.

Frau Murphy sparked a lifelong love of languages and linguistics in me and many other young people. More than that, she was a dear friend to my parents and always felt like part of our family. I fondly remember high-spirited dinners and gatherings, great conversation, and the beautiful way she kept her home. We will miss her so very much. Michael, sending all love to you and Lissa and the boys.
