Not sure what to say?

I will always remember how our paths would merge at the natural food stores and turn into an hour-long talk or walk about herbs or unreliable labeling, social justice, and even yoga. She taught me more about ginko seeds and kindness than most other folks I know. Our last moments were a walk from Whole Foods in Jamaica Plain to the subway bridge on New Cedar St. in Roxbury in late Summer 2021.

Carol was a tenant at our storage and someone we would run into around Metro Boston. We will miss her greatly especially our conversations. She was supportive of anyone doing activism and was vibrant and informative especially sharing about yoga or herbs found locally in remaining wild urban spaces. We did not get to say goodbye.

I was always struck by Carolyn's wide array of interests and the fiercely independent way she lived her life. I can't count the number of times I would see her walking around Boston and Cambridge.

Carolyn, you are great and we miss you a lot. You would walk for miles, and our paths would sometimes cross on Mass Ave and Orchard Street; and you were a fabulous speaker in support of Palestine on so many fine and rainy Saturdays at Park Street.

Carolyn was a wonderful person who helped plant fruit for the public to share and witnessed for peace and justice in many ways over the years. She will be missed by many of us who were happy she joined with us in challenging the powerful in their many wars and other misdeeds.

My deepest condolences for the loss of our special person. It is a great loss to all of us.

I had / have enormous respect for Carolyn's thoroughly informed opinions, analysis and understanding---and then, onward, into action, daily! She made a big difference! Might we all strive for that. Truly a special person, thank you.

I liked Carolyn and would often spend time talking with her after our Saturday peace vigil at Park Street in Boston. I admired her persistence in attending protests and actions in spite of her physical challenges. I lit a candle for Carolyn at a church in Boston. I will miss you and remember you, Carolyn. Thank-you for being a faithful peace activist.
