I forgot to add that whenever I eat peas I tell her to tune into my tastebuds. I'm sure they have peas in Heaven but just in case. I also miss her wink face!

It's been 10 years and I miss her so very much and think of her every day. There is too much to list of what I miss about her. I miss us being silly together, speaking in the made up language that she and her siblings did together she taught it to me and we'd laugh so hard because nobody knew what we were talking about. I miss seeing her love for her family, she loved and adored them so much! I miss her going through my closet and trying on my clothes, at her house she'd have me try on some...

Was just at GC the other day. The collage you see before entering brought me to tears. You are missed so much. Thank you for being the Angel to greet all who I have lost recently.

We were in Gourmet Cafe on Saturday having a lovely breakfast in our favorite corner booth in the bar. I saw Mike and immediately looked around for Carolyn. Her father was in the bar commenting on the kids' activities... and I wondered why I had never seen him before. Then last night we were talking to friends about how great Gourmet is and if they had ever eaten there... it was at that moment that we were told of Carolyn's passing. Although I haven't seen Carolyn in years, I was thinking about her recently. Her infectious smile... that is always what comes mind when I think about Carolyn. Carolyn's smile is a beautiful image to leave behind in our memories of her.

Carolyn was the first face I met at the old location. You couldn't miss her. She never knew me, but you could not forget her face. It was the one you looked for when you went. My husband and I started calling it Grandma's for some reason in 2000 and there is a cadre of people who call it that. It was just easier to say "Let's Go To Grandma's" and it stuck. What a shock to find out that she was no longer there and had passed so young. That bright, always young, fresh face and pale lipstick!...

I love you Carolyn! I look at your pic I have on my fridge and kiss you everyday. I know you're with the lord and mom. Remember 123.... CYN DS KG no one can take that away from us. I miss you and I'll see you in heaven.
