I had Mrs. Scarpa for 9th grade Biology in 1981. She was a wonderful, caring and inspiring teacher. She made all her students feel special. I feel privileged to have been taught by her and continued to know her throughout my high school years.
My deepest condolences to the family. She will be missed.

Although I only met Carolyn several times, I feel like I have known her for years. Her dear friend Marilyn is also my dear friend. I have heard so many stories from their coaching days and their days at the beach with the Beach Buddies. My sympathy to her family and may she Rest In Peace.

So very sorry for your loss. What a life well lived. I feel cheated I didn´t know her. I, too, was in education in Charleston as well as a Citadel graduate. God Bless.
