Not sure what to say?

Brad and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. I knew from meeting her one time that she was a very special lady - such a big heart. I'm so glad you got to share many adventures together in life. May God give you peace and comfort.

Dear Brad, Le and Will.... I was privileged to know Carolyn the past few years and appreciated her zest for living, smile and warm personality. Carolyn and Brad loved their life and friends in Costa Rica and I am so happy for the time they were able to spend there together...and just wish it could have been longer. When you honor Carolyn on March 23 in Costa Rica, she will be smiling down on you. I will miss her.

Warm Regards, Dorothy Lewis

Dear Brad & Family,
We will dearly miss Carolyn's beautiful smile, unique sense of humor, wisdom & counsel. We have been so very blessed to share this short time here in Costa Rica with both of you. God surely has a very special daughter in his presence!. RIP Carolyn

Brad and family, as you know I was so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. Her smile, her sense of humor, her kindness, all these things I thought I would enjoy again when our paths crossed. It really is a loss to so many people not having her here. I have very fond memories of drinking wine and eating in your backyard in the summer and enjoying each others company. Know that you and the family are in my thoughts. Warm Regards from Don and Corey

I just heard today of the passing of a woman I admired so very much. When I met her over 11 years ago at PLU, she inspired me in my work as a Parish Nurse, and always after had warm, encouraging words whenever we would meet. The last time I talked with her she was leaving for Costa Rica, and my heart was sad that I would not see her again. God decided that was true, and today I mourn her loss, but celebrate her wonderful life. R.I.P. Carolyn.

Brad, I am sure I sign the guest book and left a message when I first received it. I could not find it so I will again express my appreciation for Carolyn and the privilege to have met her and shared the rides to church and the lovely person she was. I think of you and Carolyn every Sunday as I go to church and remember what the church and each of us as individuals have lost. I look forward to seeing you when you return to Costa Rica.

Carolyn - we will never forget the joy you spread as you passed this way. We'll always be grateful for your warm heart, your generosity, and your willingness to go the extra mile for the Other. Wished we'd had more time...For now, we will remember the joy of your company when you and Brad had dinner with us in our humble home. We remember that last smile. We couldn't know it would be the last one shared on this side. We Remain Forever Yours in Holy SPIRIT, Willie and Doris

Carolyn was one of the most remarkable women I have had the privilege of knowing. I remember her smile, her laugh, and her immense pride in the accomplishments of her students. She spoke lovingly of the time she was able to spend with the Franciscan nuns. She lived life to the fullest, and I'm so happy that she had nothing on her bucket list, although I'm sure that she would have easily filled many many more years with her compassionate and fun presence. I miss her very much, and I suppose...
