Carolyn and I met at Saint Barnavus Church in the summer of 1980. My husband Lyle and I were blind. She helped us with shopping and daily routine. Carolyn was proud of all the guide dogs I received, she loved learning about the different guide dog schools and watched the teamwork grow. We laughed allot together! She was there, through sorrowful moments. I loved learning about her surroundings, her sharing of her children and grandchildren. The church activities was so important to her!...
