Not sure what to say?

Carolyn was the least likely person I knew to die young. She had so much life, was such a fun friend to be with, loved her family dearly, and was extremely talented. I still get very emotional and sad thinking of her passing.

I just learned of Carolyn's death. I was friends of both Carolyn and Eric when we went to the University of Minnesota, but lost touch after Carolyn and I graduated. I am saddened by Eric's loss, and express sympathy to her parents and their children, although I lost touch after we left college.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of this wonderful woman. I had the opportunity to meet her and really enjoyed her. She was intelligent and talented. I think she was an incredible mother and wife. Eric was a lucky man. She lives on in her daughters. She had an incredible smile and beautiful blue eyes. She left this earth far too soon. I know she will live on in the hearts of her family and will never be forgotten. I wish inner peace for her family.

We met Carolyn thru my husbands work. Turns out that our first names are the same and both of our oldest daughters have the same name. Carolyn was a very good person inside and out, she had a certain "feel" about her that made you feel good that you were able to know her a little. She will be a great loss to her family and friends. Keeping good memories in our hearts.

I met Carolyn through a mutual friend. She did my window treatments for a condo I moved into 9 1/2 years ago. Our friendship grew from there. She knew I was a big Elvis fan. Every January [ Elvis' birth month] she'd get us tickets for the Elvis impersonaters' show at Potawatomi. We'd have such fun; Ryan Pelton was our favorite guy. She had the gift of making the person she was with feel like they were her best friend. I was 17 years older than her but it didn't matter to either of...

My deepest sympathy to Carolyn's family. She was truly a bright light. She loved her family and friends with enthusiasm and lived life joyfully. She will be missed terribly by many.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Swanson family. May God bless and provide comfort and peace to your loving family during this difficult time.

Anyone who knew Carolyn will know how special she was -her optimism and fun spirit made her a great friend. I will always remember our many outrageous adventures following "Josh" around the country. This is a favorite photo of mine that I will treasure. My sincere condolences to her family who she loved dearly.
