Carolyn Wachtel

in Joan & my lifetime together (74 years) the wachtels were our closest friends- we had & we miss them

our best freind for many years. she will be sorely missed by all of the Mintz's

Aunt Carolyn was a wonderful woman in so many ways. I remember her as always smiling. I admired her bright, open spirit, her sense of adventure, her bright way of being in the world. And her relationship with Uncle Hal was one for the storybooks. I'm grateful for the time I had with you. May your memory always be a blessing. With love, Sharon and Fabio.

I called my friend Ted and he asked if I remembered the Wachtel family. He and I worked in the Esso gas station in Morris Plains in the 60s. Mr Wachtel would bring in his large Chrysler station wagon for us to wash. We remember Mrs Wachtel as as good looking woman. We were just young guys at the time. I was amazed at how long they were married. But it seems the marriages that last are the ones that started in high school. God bless them
