Chris and Brenda, I am forever grateful to meet Mom and to step across her threshold. She was a brilliant and beautiful person full of life, wit, and truth to live so long and have such an honored legacy. Mrs. Wells graciously allowed us into her home on a couple of occasions. She was funny, witty and incredibly knowledgeable on so many topics. She was really very special. I'm grateful to have met her and my sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Thank you for your condolences. My family will be hosting a memorial for Carol on Wednesday (10/16) at noon. In lieu of flowers she requested donations in her name to St Judes Childrens Hospital, Natchitoches Genealogical and History Society and St Hildas Anglican Catholic Church in Natchitoches.
