Not sure what to say?

That was the most beautiful obituary I have ever read! She certainly has a full life. ❤

Chris and Brenda, I am forever grateful to meet Mom and to step across her threshold. She was a brilliant and beautiful person full of life, wit, and truth to live so long and have such an honored legacy. You were most fortunate but the loss will still sting for lack of touch or a word that now waits till you meet again up yonder.

Mrs. Wells graciously allowed us into her home on a couple of occasions. She was funny, witty and incredibly knowledgeable on so many topics. She was really very special. I'm grateful to have met her and my sincere condolences to her family and friends.

On behalf of Louisiana Women Veterans, we would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family of Carolyn McConnell Wells, U.S. Navy WWII veteran. We salute her service to our country and honor her with this poem:

She is a woman veteran
Whose service was true
And she proudly served
The Red, White and Blue

She gave a part of her life
So others could be free
And without any hesitation
She joined unselfishly

She did her job...

Carol was a special lady and a good friend. My condolences to her family

Well's Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Thank you for your condolences. My family will be hosting a memorial for Carol on Wednesday (10/16) at noon. In lieu of flowers she requested donations in her name to St Judes Childrens Hospital, Natchitoches Genealogical and History Society and St Hildas Anglican Catholic Church in Natchitoches.

Your Mom was special. So glad that I had the pleasure of knowing her and your dad many years ago. Gods richest blessings to all of you.
