Dear Martin, Paula, and Peter, We are going to miss Carolyn very much. I remember the first time meeting her and you, Martin, when I, with Anna, had driven Paula to your home in the Maplewood neighborhood from some Catlin afterschool event, and, after spirited conversation, Carolyn invited Anna and me to stay for dinner. Carolyn was one of the most kind and generous souls I ever met. Always a smile, and ever-ready to talk about her life experiences. She and my husband spent a lot of time talking, sometimes in Spanish, about their times in Tucson. We will both miss her ever-ready smile and kind generous demeanor.
