SUMTER | Carrie Carter Ard, 91, wife of the late Fairy L. Ard, died Saturday, Mar. 26, 2005. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway. Interment will follow in Prevatte Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
