Carrie Renae Barlow died on October 22, 2013 in an unfortunate helicopter accident while doing what she loved. She was born in Dyersburg to the parents of Jackie and Kay Moore. She was married to Keith Barlow in March of 2008. She graduated from Dyersburg State Community College as a registered nurse and started working in the emergency room at Lauderdale County Community Hospital. She worked in the NICU at Jackson-County Medical Hospital and then pursued her dream of being a Pedi-flight nurse at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. Survived by husband: Keith Barlow, son: Caleb Wright, stepsons: Trysten and Cameron Barlow, father and mother: Jackie and Kay Moore, brother: Blake Moore, Grandmother: Sally Quick, and mother-in-law: Bessie Mae Barlow. She is also survived by 5 nieces, 3 nephews, sister-in-law's Meredith Moore and Angie Akin, and brother-in-law Tommy Akin. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased in death by grandparents: Sanford Quick, Mitchell and Louise Moore, and father-in-law: Jerry Barlow. Carrie touched many lives, was much loved, and will be greatly missed. A MEMORIAL SERVICE, FOR THE CREW OF THE PEDI FLIGHT TEAM, WILL BE HELD IN CORDOVA AT THE HOPE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (8500 WALNUT CREEK RD.) AT 10AM ON TUESDAY THE 29th. VISITATION WILL BE HELD FRIDAY NOV. 1 FROM 5-8 PM. AT THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF HALLS. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2PM ON SATURDAY NOV. 2, ALSO AT THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF HALLS.. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED THAT MEMORIALS BE MADE TO; Lebonheur Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the donor's choice.
