Carrie Alma Colla, 90, of Ventura, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008.
Mrs. Colla was born Jan. 8, 1918, in Bakersfield and was a Ventura resident for the past 89 years.
Prior to her retirement Carrie worked as a dinning room assistant for 24 years for Pacific Bell and AT&T....

So sorry to hear about Grandma Carrie's passing. She was a special woman. I extend my deepest sympathy to you all. But I also rejoice that she and Brett are together. He loved her very much, and worried about her when she wasn't well. Now they will we together forever.

I aways enjoyed visiting with her on the phone or in her house.
I have fond memories of her house on Harrison and the Avenue and the many antiques she would show me.
