Carrie Hamilton Obituary
Born November 17, 1932 in Union County Arkansas; she was the daughter of James Dock Vorhease and Mary Eslie Phelps. Carrie was a cafeteria worker in the Strong School District. She was a member of the New London Baptist Church.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Chancelor Hamilton; father, James Dock Vorhease; mother Mary Elsie Phelps Vorhease; sister, Ola Mae Tuberville; brothers, J.D. Vorhease, and Jessie James Vorhease.
Survived by her son, Chip Hamilton (Suzette) of Boyd, TX; daughter, Suzie Hamilton (Tate Dugal) of El Dorado, AR; sister, Florence Huffman of Monticello, AR; grandchildren, Michelle Hamilton, Ryan Dugal, Hamilton Dugal, Sarah Dugal, McKenzie Hamilton, Charlie Dugal and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

"Mrs. Carrie was such a jewel of a woman. I enjoyed being part of the Strong School District family with her. She had such a warm, pleasant personality. The little things she would do to make others feel special and loved. Such a fine, lovely, sweet spirited lady. Rest in love Mrs. Carrie....Rest In Love."

I worked with Ms Carrie and she was such a fine person. She always had a sweet disposition and Oh that smile. Ms Carrie always had a smile for the kids in the lunchroom as she served them their meals. I never heard her say a cross word to anyone. ---James E. Willis
