Not sure what to say?

Carrie and I became great friends when we were in the Singles Program in our church. I think she was one of the wisest and most compassionate friends that I had. We all were drawn to her beauty and knew it came from within. Even though I have not seen her in 26 years, she has always been in my heart. I remember when I married, she said, "Oh, Judy he's a fox". She would be happy to know that he still is and also a "keeper." It will comfort you to know that Carrie brought happiness to all...

I have many fond memories of Carrie during my high school years. Gayle and I used to choreograph dances to perform at church functions and Carrie spported us and let us work at her home. She made all our custumes and took us to all our performances. She was our biggest fan. She made us feel special and without her help we wouldn't have such wonderful memories. I also remember her taking time to go shopping with Gayle and I and helping us pick out clothes. Carrie had a great sense of...

By your children, and your children's children's children, you have blessed this world. By the children of the schools where you worked, you have blessed this world. And by your exit from our midst, you have brought all your work with you as the offering of your life to God, before Him, in His presence now, and advocating for us, your children. Love.

Yes, it has been several years since we were all together at Roosevelt---but I too remember her patient and gentle kindness to all the students she worked with.
Many Blessings on her family.

Carrie and I worked together at Roosevelt High School for many years. She worked as a Special Education Teacher's Assistant and was invaluable to our program. Carrie loved her job and her family with her whole heart. I will miss her gentle spirit and wonderful laugh. Good-bye, Dear Carrie, you will be missed.

God bless your whole family. Carrie is happy and at peace with our Heavenly Father now. Rest in peace, beautiful Carrie............

The thoughts and prayers of the members of the Roosevelt Alumni Association and the community of North Portland who knew Carrie are with you today. May memories bring you comfort as you celebrate a life well lived and one that impacted so many, many children.with love and respect.

So many wonderful memories of Carrie! Beautiful, animated, stylish and always fun. I remember best the big house in NW Portland and hanging out with Patrice and Lisa ... I'm sure Patrice welcomed her mom home. Carrie was a wonderful friend to my mom, too. Love and prayers to the family ... we'll be out of town or I would be there Saturday. God bless and comfort you at this time.
