Not sure what to say?

My father, Carl Belville, was deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Alexander's passing. They grew up together in Marysville, Ohio and have been friends since grade school. Each visit with Dad was never complete without at least one new account of some scrape, close call or wheeling and dealing of Alexander's, as he referred to him. I would have very much liked to have met him in these later years. Through Dad, I think I knew him. He has been well thought of in my family. My sincerest condolences...

We were very fortunate to know CJ and visit with him during his stays at Lynda's and Bert's. During his last visit,I asked CJ if he needed anything. He wanted,"a kind word and a little time." I'm sorry that I couldn't give him both.
Carl and I will miss CJ,but think of him often...everytime another plane flies over our house!

It was always a great delight to see CJ here in Oshkosh every year. I am glad I had the privilege to meet and get to know him, he will be sorely missed

I will never be able to pay back all the favors that C.J. over the many many ... years that I have been fortunate to have a friend like C.J. I will do my best to fill his shoes at Oshkosh.

Condolences sister inlaw Z. Alexander and nieces

Please know your family is in the thoughts and prayers of all the EAAers who knew and loved CJ. We always looked forward to his arriving for the annual convention and coming around to say hello in his warm and gentle manner.

May he rest in peace and may all good memories help to ease your sadness.

CJ was a great friend and will be sorely missed....and never forgotten.

C.J. was a true gentleman and will be missed. I will miss his constant smile, positive attitude, and his words of encouragement. He will be thought of often as he was a special part of AirVenture.
