I was saddened to hear of Carroll's passing and even sadder to learn that Barbara had passed away last fall. I looked forward to seeing them every summer at the Davis Reunion. I always enjoyed talking to Carroll. He and I were related at least three different ways, twice through the Davis family and once through the Cooley family.
