Carroll "Tommy" Eastman

Sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. Growing up on the hill with Rick, Carol and Pam is often remembered as the best years of my life. Tommy was a good friend to my Dad and his brothers, along with my Uncle Wendell and the making of the Hootie Dome. I learned the game of baseball from them and Tommy taught me how to keep score. I remember Tommy very well. He was always involved with the school kids I can remember him driving the school bus always friendly with a word of advice for all. He will always be remembered

Tommy Eastman was a great guy and mindful of the E. Hardwick, VT youth all his life. He went on to create thousands of memories for hundreds of young E. Hardwick kids both in basketball and in later years baseball. Not a bad legacy to leave behind!

He will be missed but, for many of us, the memories linger on!

My sympathies to Tommy's family. One of the best influences I had as a young boy growing up in East Hardwick. One of my Little League coaches (w/ Wendell Dimick) at a time when precious few adults dedicated their spare time to the enrichment of other people's children. "Tommy" was such a good listener and friend to many in E Hardwick, you know that. He is missed and fondly remembered by many.
