Dear Maurine and Family,
I've appreciated knowing you and your sweetheart. He and Marion were good friends of Verl's before I was, and we always admired his happy positive personality. I do believe, they played baseball against each other, and often had experiences to share of those good days. From my association with the two of you, you were both such Christ like people. Heaven must be happy to see him, and I know that you here on earth will miss him greatly. Being without your mate...

My life has been richer because Carroll has been my big brother, even though I'm older. He used to tease me about that. I'm going to get even with him when I see him. He's not suppose to leave before me.

Carroll was more than an Uncle he was a real friend. He will be missed, greatly.
