JARRELL, Carroll "Dean" - Of Flint, age 75, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Heritage Baptist Church, 5199 East Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Pastor Dan Louman officiating and Pastor Carl Petty, co-officiating. Burial at a later date in Sadlers Chapel Cemetery, Dexter, Missouri. Visitation 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Dean was born in Puxico, Missouri on November 12, 1932. He worked for General Motors for 30 years and was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church. Mr. Jarrell enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was always caring and had a genuine concern for others. Dean loved to travel and also loved collecting antiques. Surviving are wife, Connie; sons, Phillip Jarrell of Advance, Missouri, Gary Lee Jarrell, Steven Markle and Garfield William; daughter, Tracy Markle; sister, JoAnn (Kenneth) Cooper of Missouri; nephew, Randy Cooper; 5 step-grandchildren.
