Not sure what to say?

Dear Dr. Carroll Leevy Jr. and family;
I am so deeply disturbed and sorry to learn about the loss of Your father who was really a great man, the finest doctor in the profession and a good friend. I am the retired medical photographer who worked at UMDNJ from 1968 until 1999 and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Leevy in 1968 when I first came to the school and also had the distinct opportunity of working for and with him over many good years. I extend my sympathy and condolences to the...

Dr carroll b leevy and family,
I came to the liver clinic in 1988 with a bilirubin level of 27. I hadn't slept in 3 weeks due to uncontrollable itching and tremendous anxiety about what was going on inside of me. My local hospital had no clue what was wrong with me and my mother heard of Dr leevy and arranged an appointment.

Dr. Leevy and Family,

I was deeply sadden when I read of the passing of Mu Boule Emeritus Archon Dr. Carroll M. Leevy, Distinguished Physician and Researcher of Liver Diseases.

Dr. Leevy was one of the most beloved members for 57 years of Mu Boule of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity. He will be missed by all the world for his medical and scientific contributions. It has been an honor to have known him

I didn't know Dr Leevy; I just read about his passing and thought it so sad to lose someone who gave so much back to our society. I admire that he helped the medical profession with understanding liver disease. My prayers are with his family.

Dear Carroll,
I remember your father fondly from our young days as neighbors in Bayonne. He was a kind man and, even as a child, I recognized that he had a brilliance that made him special. My sympathies to you on your loss.
