Though he was my pa for only five years, a lifetime of memories and love my mom and I shared with him. In my heart and prayers as memories we will all share, our love for you will go on. I miss him, and to my mom he was her true love and she too will carry him in her heart until they meet again. Knowing he will be waiting for her will carry her on. Oh how Brother Roosevelt is rejoicing with the Angels on high. He was such a wonderful blessing in church and great musician. We will miss him but know we will see him on the other side. God bless each of you and we send our prayers of comfort that our Heavenly Father may bring you peace during this time in your lives.

I only knew Mr. Roosevelt throgth church and my son,as well as mama. When I did see him he was always smiling and loved chiildren(I know I have alot that he never failed to ask about) He was a very prominent member of the church and his community, never hesitating to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He will be missed by all who knew him and some who only knew of his good services. Bless you in the next life Roosevelt!

I WAS DEEPLY SADDENED TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. RICHARD, YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL ALWAYS BE FAMILY TO ME. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO COME TO FLORENCE TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL BUT WAS UNABLE TO DUE TO WORK AND THE KIDS. RICHARD, RUBY, AND TEMPLE, I LOVE YOU GUYS.
