Carter Jay CaseAug. 19, 1949 - Aug. 27, 2020 Carter Case loved music. Not sure what to say?

Carter was a great deal of fun to be around and a wonderful friend. His love of music, cocktails, and people always come through. His uncanny timing on when to send a text to meet for a drink amazed me and something that I will truly miss. He always treated people with respect and had a curiosity about what you were doing no matter how busy he was. It goes without saying that Portland has lost one of its great souls this year.

Judy,
I was so very saddened and shocked to read about Carter....honestly I couldn’t believe it.... It’s just so hard to imagine that the people, the friends one has known so much of their lives... could be gone one day...
I loved passing and saying Hi to always just a slightly shy Carter Case....at the Mac Club....
My condolences I send to you Judy and your family....and hope for all of you to find strength in the days ahead...
Fondly, Barbara Rosenbaum

I’m shocked and saddened by the news of Carter. So many wonderful long-ago memories of good times shared - wining and dining, laughing, and of course listening to great music. So sorry to have lost touch but have not forgotten you! Sending my love to Judy and the family.

He was a kind thoughtful soul. Always had time for a conversation and I always enjoyed our time spent. Peace Carter. I will jazz it up this week in your honor.

So very sorry to hear that Carter has died. We went to high school together and he was just a really nice guy that was very kind to everyone. Glad to read that he had a wonderful life.

From a high school classmate of Carter’s- he was such a nice guy. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. It is so good to see that he had a wonderful family and good life. Rest In Peace, Carter and enjoy the eternal symphony.

We grew up in Vista Hills together and had many good times through high school. He will be missed
