I was so sorry to hear of Carter's death. He was an outstanding lawyer and, more importantly, a good man and a perfect gentleman. I will always enjoy the years working with him at KeyCorp. I remember the many trips we took together where it seemed we would inevitably end up in a book shop. I send my condolences to Carter's family. Having worked with him at Hiscock & Barclay, I remember him to be a kind, friendly man, with a laugh that was so contagious.

I would like to send my sympathies to you and Lynn on Carter's death. I remember you all with fondness as I babysat Lynn when she was an infant. My mom, Genevieve Kraushaar, was Carter's secretary at Crouse-Hinds for many years and thought the world of him. May the many wonderful memories you have of him help you through this difficult time.
