I remember Carter and Jo fondly as a young child growing up in New Orleans. They were often part of the fun loving group of C & S pilots and their wives. I was one of the first kids so was often included and all treated me as one of their own. And I remember Zilch.
Joanne Heare (Bridges)

I flew co-pilot for Carter when I first went to work for C&S in 1941. He helped me a great deal. A fine gentleman. I talked to him by phone a few months before his death.

Carter and Jo were close family friends from the C&S days in Memphis..Both of them were down to earth and fun to be with..so glad they are together again..

December 1961 I was a new flight attendant in Miami. I was awe struck by fulfilling my girlhood dream come true. It was a pleasure to know Capt. Haas and be part of his crew. May He Rest in Peace in Paradise.. Merry Christmas,
Robin Davis Dodson
