I learned of Carter's passing while reading his father's obituary. We knew each other in high school and I'll always remember his bright smile and easy-going way. Cancer took my younger brother and I'm sorry to hear the Higbees went thru that horrible loss too. Carter was a bright light and I know he shines in God's great love.
