Surviving are his devoted mother, Jeanette Brown; father, Joseph Smith; son, sister, brother, nieces and nephews, seven aunts, uncle, host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9, at 11 a.m. Dr. Jerome Ross officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Well , it's been 5 1/2 years since Carter left us, we still think and talk about him all the time. He made a lot of friends here in West Virginia , he was a very good man . I miss you man !
