He will be greatly missed.
Chris Littell

I would like to express my sympathy to the family on Deke's passing. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to know him during his FBI days dating back to when he was Asst. Director of the Crime Records Division during the Hoover days. No finer gentleman ever graced the halls of the FBI.

It is a sad loss a a great man and leader, but he leaves an outstanding testiment to his achievements and beliefs.

My sincere condolences on the loss of a great man and friend to my parents, Jo and Don Hanning. It's been long time but I still have great childhood memories of Mr. DeLoach in Washington and Purchase. Rest in peace, Deke.

We have lost a great friend and Hilton Head will miss this wonderful community champion who did so much to make the Island a better place for all to enjoy. I am so privileged to have shared his dream of bringing the Arts Center to life. Bravo, bravo dear friend and now rest in peace with our dear Lord and Savior.

With love and sympathy,
John and Barbara Lawless
