Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace, Mr. Markley. Thank you for supporting us in the CHS musicals!

Just returned from a trip to the Canadian Rockies. As always, I can´t travel without thinking about Carvel and all of the wonderful adventures that we had all over the world. I know that he always wanted to go to Banff up in Alberta province and I finally visited there last week. I miss your cane observations on architecture, landscaping, and the use of art. I treasure so many of our past experiences... Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and your friendship.

I am ready for a memorial. Can we imagine him in heaven catching up with mom? I still think of him everyday. I try to "pay it forward" by buying my middle school teacher friends´ food at restaurants & god, I miss his snark! Cantate is not the same without mom and dad!

It's been many years since I have seen Carvel, my cousin. As we gathered with family frequently, he was always a joy to be around; having a great sense of humor. I always also enjoyed many shows on Broadway, but never realized he did also. Thank you Jill for being there to care for Carvel.

To the family. So sorry for your loss. I met him through our high school musicals but I'm grateful that we continued a friendship into my adulthood. He was witty, charming and had such a huge heart. Carvel will be deeply missed.

As a cousin living about three hours away I did not have a close relationship with Carvel. For many years, however, the Markley family would meet at my parents' house for swimming and a picnic (there were about 50 of us). I can tell everyone that Carvel got his fine sense of humor from his mom. He was very interested in the history of our family which included many prominent Markleys of Montgomery County where our ancestors began their lives. In fact, in 2010, Carvel rediscovered the family...

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

It was improbable that I was picked to be part of one of his high school musicals when I was just a 7th grader. Living among the teenagers and being a part of that show was like living in an alternate universe for a few months. When it ended, I remember crying into his arms at the thought of it all being over. He responded by letting me destroy his tie with my tears saying it was going to be okay.
A few years later I got to be part of his musicals again and enjoy painting/building his...
