Cary Easterling

EASTERLING, CARY

Cary Easterling, surrounded by loved ones, died peacefully on January 2, 2015. He fought the good fight, finished the course and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). He was born December 12, 1959 in Montgomery, AL.

Cary is survived by his mother and step-father, Betty Ethridge Harrell and Jerry Harrell; brother, Buddy Easterling (Las Vegas, Nevada); nephew, Gene Easterling (Louisiana); step-mother, Anne Kirk Easterling (Panama City, Florida); step-brother, Jeff Harrell and step-sister, Jennifer Harrell Dunaway (Florida).

Cary was preceded in death by his father, Gene Easterling and sister Kim Easterling (Kimber Clayton).

Cary was a member of Montgomery First Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed professional football especially watching Cam Newton and fishing with his nephew Gene in Panama City Beach.

Cary was blessed to have Buddy at home giving love and comfort at the end of his life's journey especially during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Also, to have Anne Easterling and Liz Lee showing love and unending faithfulness.

A special thank you to Dr. Brian Gary and the Jackson Hospital staff and to Hospice Advantage for enabling Cary to be cared for at home with Betty and Jerry.

Graveside services to be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2 PM at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, 3001 Simmons Dr., Montgomery, AL. Services conducted by Pastor Samuel Riemersma and Joe Kirk.
