Not sure what to say?

Cary:
Although we only knew each other for 8 years, you were a great help to me at the WC, always taking time to solve my problems. Your great personality always made the van trip to Homewood easier for all of us. Most of all, you were a great friend and I will miss you.

Cary was a good friend of mine. He was a very caring person. I remember when I had my triple bypass, Cary made it a point to sit down and talk to me when I returned to work just to see how I was doing and how I was feeling. It made me feel so good knowing he cared.

I remember during summers a bunch of us would get together after work and play some basketball at a nearby park. I never knew Cary played basketball until he showed me some of his moves. I'm glad we were on the same...

Since I have been retired I haven't had much contact with friends that I have known so many years. Cary was a true friend to me. He was very caring. When I had my triple bypass, Cary made a point to sit down and talk with me about how I was feeling. It made me feel good knowing how much he cared. He was a very caring individual.

I remember one summer a few of us after work would go to a park nearby and play some basketball. I never realized that Cary could play basketball. We...

Judi, during the past 26 years, we've always enjoyed spending time with you and Cary. Although we will miss him very much, we will always be there for you, and hope you will continue to spend time with the both of us. Love, Ron & Donna

I was so shocked and sorry to hear about Cary. I remember him as a good, kind and caring person. It is sad beyond belief when the world loses someone like this so young. Judi, I am sad for you.

I was sorry to hear of Cary's illness two days before he passed on. I was shocked when we were standing in the hallway outside his room at Northwestern when an aide stated he had died. Cary was a good worker and avid fishing companion. On one occasion, He caught his first 2 pound Illinois bass. I am sure he will be sorely missed. My condolences to Judy and the family.

I asked my son Sean to give me a memory of his Uncle Cary. He said he remembered that while visiting him from Arizona in the winter Cary helped him make snowballs outside. I guess they must have been throwing them at someone as he said Cary kept handing them to him quickly! Sean still has a Cubs baseball on his bookcase that Cary gave him one Christmas. He hasn't seen him in many years, but says he remembers him as being a very nice person who laughed alot.

I'm very sad to hear about Cary.
My own words are inadequate, so I will use a quote from John Taylor:
"While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil."

I have known Cary since we were kids. We went to grammar school together, worked together, played together skied together. Cary has always been one of my favorite people. Good natured and good hearted. I saw Cary a few days before he died. As ill as he was, he still managed that great big Cary smile. I will always remember his smile. Good bye Cary. I will miss you.
