A year has gone by already and as I look at your picture on my mantel every day I still can not believe that I will never get to hug you again. You will live in my heart forever.

I can't believe it's been a whole year. It still feels as fresh as if it were yesterday. I think about you every single day and wake up to your picture every morning. Your mom is doing amazing and so is Ruby. I wish we had more time...I wish we could have grown up together. But I know that this way you will be forever young and forever beautiful. I only knew Casey for a seemingly short time but that was long enough to know that she was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. I still think about her today and hope all her friends and family cherish those memories forever. We miss you Casey.
