Not sure what to say?

My first experience with Casey at a golf range in Kent WA. I like many people want to be a better golfer than I'am. I remember Casey scheduling time to meet me at the range to provide me some tips. He was late for our session and arrived in disarray, he informed me that his car had been broken into and he had to put some old clubs together out of his basement. I vividly remember looking at his make shift clubs collection thinking how in the hell is he going to hit the ball with these...

I always loved being around Casey. I was also one of the lucky ones to get his 'hand-me-down' shirts - I wore those shirts to thread, I was so happy and thankful to receive them from him. Great guy! Big loss! Love you, Skopil family and thinking of you all.

Dear Skopil family,
Heartfelt condolences to you all. Although I did not know Casey, he was a Skopil and A member of an extraordinary bunch! Hugs and love to you. May his memory live on in your heart and amongst all who knew him.

I worked with Casey coordinating shipments of electronics for him. He was great & always made sue to follow through and his sales went well. He was a true salesman and competitor. To Wendy and all the Skopil Family, Sandy & I are so sorry to hear this news. Your are in our thoughts. Bill & Sandy Fox

I have fond memories of Casey since we both grew up on the same street. I remember the welcome I always received from the Skopil family. Casey and I hadnt seen each other in decades but it was important to me to reach out to his grieving family.

I never had the chance to tell Casey thank you for being the kind of person he was who brought so much fun and laughter to those around him. I was one of his junior high teachers and coaches about fifty years ago, and I never forgot his big smile and enthusiastic, joyful attitude. I loved having him in class and on my team, but especially in the journalism class with the best students in school, where he made every day a fun-filled adventure. I also had Shannon as a student, and I knew...

Casey, my sweet love, you were like a brother to me growing up. We played together, laughed, swam, threw the baseball, shared our awkward middle school years together and even entered the dorms together at the U of O. You will always hold a special place of innocence in my heart. Peace be with you, my dear friend of many of our youthful years. You were a sweetheart. I sorry that I didnt get to say good bye. Love you.

This is sad news... but brings up so many wonderful memories! Casey Skopil sure rocked my world in 7th grade! My first love! Leslie Jr. High parties was so much better because he was there! So glad we got to see at our last Class Reunion. God speed Casey.
