Cassie and I attended and graduated together from Rutgers University College in 1969. We were good friends and kept in touch after graduation. I remember Cassie as a good man, Rutgers to the core and a fine human being. He is often in my thoughts to this day. RIP my friend. Bob Weingarten

I am saddened by the passing of Cassie. I was a psychology professor (still am) when Cassie served as Dean of Students. He was so competent and a joy to consult with about student issues.

Dean Miller gave me my academic start. Without him in my life, cheering me on, I may not have had a professional career at all. Now, I am happily retired. But, I was born and raised on the Rutgers-Newark campus and Dean Miller was an early, no-nonsense, and very significant " mid-wife." My sympathy to the Miller family.

My heartfelt condolences to the Miller family. I pray for comfort, peace and strength, now, and in the days ahead. "He didn't take no mess...no excuses." He was...

Our deepest sympathy to the Miller Family. Mr. Miller was over the Youth Dept(BYF) at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Newark, during the mid 1960's.
Mr. Miller was a "role model" to all young people. He stressed the importance of education.
Job well done Mr. Miller. RIP
