Not sure what to say?

Dear Libby,
My time spent with Catherine was an invaluable lesson in living an abundant, creative life. Her great generosity of shared spirit and knowledge is just a part of her wonderful legacy.
My thoughts are with you and the family.
Sincerely,
Curly Clark

Dear Libby,
I just needed to send my condolences to you and your family. I understand how you are feeling now.
We met on a Saturday in Gloversville, NY..After our 6 hours together I feel like I know you. My name is Kate Lasher and you used MY sewing machine to share a technique. Your Mom's passing will bring you strength when you quilt. She'll be with you always, in spirit...as my mom is with me.

Dear Libby,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. In getting quilts ready for Dee Lynn's memorial this week, Val Sparks reminded me of the time your mother gave an outdoor presentation on Amish quilts at the Quilted Apple in Phoenix, AZ. The wind was whipping the quilts around making it hard for the store's employees to hold them while Catherine talked. We anticipated the same at Dee's memorial, but all went well. There surely is a quilt frame in heaven with lots of lovely...

Catherine and Jim were two of the world's best, and we will forever remember with great fondness our many times with them, Michael holding especially good memories of springtime excursions to teach at the Quilt Patch and enjoy the Anthonys' gracious and generous hospitality. They showed us the best of Texas and the best of family and community. We're so glad to have seen Catherine at the Silver Star Salute a couple or three years back - she's herself a shining star whose memory will twinkle...

On behalf of the Austin Area Quilt Guild I send our deepest sympathy. Catherine was a good friend to our Austin guild.

Libby, I was so sorry to hear of the death of Catherine. I know you will miss her. She was such a wonderful Texas lady. I always loved being in her company. Love to you and your family.

Libby, Mynan Guidry just phoned me to tell me about your mom's passing. I am so very sorry, she was such a friend to her daughters as well as a super-organized mom! The quilting world has lost an amazing teacher, but knowing you, the legacy lives on and will spread far and wide. I love you, and pray for you often. A mother is a most difficult friend to lose. Love and prayers, Tanya

I remember going to the store on Voss Road many years ago. It was when I first became 'hooked' on quilting. Many thanks for all you have done for quilters and may Heaven welcome you Catherine.

Libby: I remember sitting in the back seat of your car, looking at your mother speaking in the front seat as we drove somewhere in Ohio. I was struck by the beauty of her face and her skin. An odd but vivid memory I thought I would share.
