Condolences to the Beattie family on your loss. Thinking of you, especially Tommy. Love Catherine

It saddens me that another true Vermonter has gone. What a wonderful life Kate lived. Know that my thoughts are with you all.

Congratulations on a life well lived, Kate. Those pies will be remembered for years to come.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Marty, Tom, Jane, Kitty and the rest of the Beattie family on the loss of your mother. It was always nice to see her come to our State House gathering each winter with the grocers and retailers.

Kate,
You are an example to me of a "True Vermonter"....filled with creativity, a marvel at finding simple resources, and the essence of a down-to-earth common sense, no-nonsense person! The spirit you gave to everyone you met and greeted was truly Godly. May the Lord now be with you to bless the life you lived, forever. In God you did trust. You will never be forgotten!!

I had the pleasure of knowing "Kate" and many of her family. You all hold a very special place in my heart. I have such GOOD memories of the numerous trips that I had the pleasure of driving for her. You all have my deepest sympathy.

I had the pleasure of driving Catherine on some of her bus trips - she always treated me well and made me feel part of the group.
