Not sure what to say?

Catherine and Dave were as close to family I had when assigned to Scott AFB, back in 2006. They would always jump at the chance to watch my newborn son (Atreyu), who is now 9 years old and step-son Tyler, now 12. Anytime they had a dinner party or BBQ, we were always on the guest list. They were even kind enough to allow me to stay with them for a period of time when I was transitioning between duty stations. It meant so much to us that we had some people in our lives that treated us like...

We are in shock to learn of Catherine's untimely passing. I've known Catherine and Dave since the 1970s through our time in Air Weather Service and into retirement. Catherine always greeted me with a great big smile, a warm "Hello" and usually a hug whenever our paths crossed. This lady with such a great personality will be missed by all. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Dave and all Catherine's Family. God bless y'all in this difficult time.

Oh Aunt Katherine I sure am gonna miss you!!! You left us to soon but I know your going to watch over us all.. I will see you again someday and when that day comes you be ready.... I'm so glad I got to talk to you before everything happened, I had no ideal it would be the last time I would talk to you.. your stories was the best, we laughed for over a hour and I will cherish that with me for ever!!! We always had the best of times when we would see each other.. there was never a dull...

My condolences to the family. God gives us a hope of everlasting life that can sustain you. John 17:3

Fun, funny and outgoing. Such a big personality leaves an absence anyone who knew you feels. RIP hun.
