Catherine, (nee Piwowar), age 95, of Aston, on May 20, 2017.
Daughter of the late Florence (nee Nowak) and Julian Piwowar and beloved wife of the late
John J. Burke, she was also predeceased by her siblings, Chester Piwowar (Ruby), Jane Walton (Cyril) and Helen Marsich (Joseph) and her nephew, Joseph Marsich.
She is survived by nieces and nephews; Deborah Sweeney (Joe), Nancy Messner, Gregory Marsich (Diane), Pamela Prusiensky (Ken) and Keith Walton (Lisa). Also 10 great-nieces and nephews and 7 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Catherine was a member of St. Hedwig's and Upper Chichester Seniors.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Wednesday, May 24, 9:30 AM at St. Hedwig's Church, 2623 W. 4th St., Chester, PA 19013. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
