Not sure what to say?

It was my privilege to work for Dr. Carlton at her clinic 1990-1995, during a time when I desparately needed a friend, and she was there. I was so impressed by her devotion to her patients and her genuine concern for their well-being. She was an inspiration. She had a magic touch as all her patients know.

I have always had to overcome anxiety about going to the doctor, but I overcame that with Dr. Carlton. She inspired trust. She both challenged and cared for me at the same time. I will miss her.

I was incapacitated with back pain incurred en route to a visit with family in Ft. Worth several years ago. My husband's brother referred me to his physician, Dr. Carlton. In a few days she worked wonders. I remember her as a no-nonsense, caring healer--with a memorable, delightful, original style.
So, on the basis of only a few office visits, now miles away, several years later, I have remembered her often, tried to practice her precepts, and have mentioned her to friends here from time...

Dr. Carlton was my doctor for many years and walked with me through some very painful periods in my life. Whenever things got too heavy for me, I would find a reason to go see Dr. Carlton and never failed to leave without feeling better, and, somehow, uplifted.

She was the epitome of grace and dignity, and the world has lost one of its best.

For what short time I knew Katie, I am so glad I met her. I thought it was just amazing that she, as a woman in her era, had accomplished so much. I remember one time after she retired, I was having a lot of neck issues and she couldn't wait to get her hands on me! I could tell she really missed her practice. This lady will be highly missed by more people than I can imagine. She has definetly earned her spot in heaven!

My Mother, Esther Tucker, was Eugene Hightower's secretary for many years. We met Dr. Carlton when she and Mr. Hightower were married. What a fantastic person Dr. Carlton was. She was a true humanitarian. I was a patient of hers also. I feel better for having known her. One funny: I used to wear my hair long in my younger years and wasn't very good about getting haircuts. I ran into Dr. Carlton at the Osteopathic Hospital back in the early 80s and she said: Boy you sure need a haircut. I told...

As a past presidenr of the Deanery and Diocesan Council of Catholic

This is for Cathy Carlton Landon.
I had the privilege of meeting your Mother a few times, at professional meetings. I had her give you a note from me.
Your Mother was a fine example of a kind and caring person who went above and beyond. She was a delightful woman and loved by all.
My prayers are with you and your family.
