Not sure what to say?

Dear Chase Family
Kenny was my friend for many years. I saw her from my office desk wondering about the Campus od Inter American University in San German, Puerto Rico- and she seemed to be such an interesting lady I had to go out and greet her. It was instant chemistry. From there she met all the family in Puerto Rico, became part of the aranitas group of my mother in law and even celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary in San German with all her dear friends there- some of which did not...

To all the Chase Family (and I know quite a lot of you), You have my deepest condolences but you also have the celebration in my heart for a life so beautifully lived. She was an inspiration for all of us and she will always be with you.

Dear Sherry and the extended Chase family,
My deepest condolences to you all. In hearing of Kenny's passing, I am deeply saddened knowing that another aspect of my childhood has come to an end after the loss of my own grandparents, Richard and Frances Powers. My life has been peppered with wonderful Chase & Power's interactions whether on trips to Cape Breton, Cold Spring Harbor, or a summer in Ashokan working on the corn farm. In all these interactions, I fondly remember Kenny's warmth,...

My grandparents, Axel and Margit Oxholm, were good friends of the Compton family (Kenny's parents) when they lived in Washington State. Throughout my entire life I have heard stories of the family kept alive with Kenny's letters. She always expressed her desire to keep our family connections alive. I was so saddened to hear of her passing as I read her "final" letter that arrived yesterday. I will try to connect my family to fulfill the wishes of my grandmother and Kenny. Sincere...

We will have many more family pick nicks in our not so far away entity. Loved all the years knowing you.

Bless you Catherine may you find peace and thank you for giving us your noble, beautiful and generous daughter Cici.
Sincerely, Bernardette

We wish all of you our prayers and fond memories.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family. We have a lifetime of vivid memories of Kenny, beginning in the sixties when she and Sherry would visit our parents in Wooster, Ohio. Those visits were always entertaining and lively and remained so through the next 40 years. We like to think that our parents and Kenny are carrying on the tradition on the other side. She will be greatly missed!
Love, Sandra Cope Stieglitz and Stephen Cope

Kenny lived her life with a deep sense of gratitude for everyone and everything around her. She was full of grace, beauty, hospitality and love. I will miss my dear friend and role model dearly. Jo Sparer Woodstock
