Too many great memories to put inside such a small place for such a kind person, loving and giving person. My thoughts and love go out to the Davenport family.

I'm honored to have met and cared for this beautiful soul. She was a feisty little friend and I loved my visits with her and your wonderful family. God bless you all in the loss of a strong matriarch. Bernard and Douglas you did well. I've never seen men care for their mother and honor her wishes so well. Betty you had the privilege of escorting your mother to her heavenly home. Take comfort in knowing those legs are dancing with angels now. I love you guys.

Ms. Davenport was on of the pillars of the community. I remember her work with the civic league while I was growing up in Docena. She was very active in her church and was a positive influience on the children in our community because she was involved in supporting the schools too. I will always have memories of her as a neighbor, community leader, and most of all as a Christian woman. You will be miss Auntie....

To the Davenport Family, I used teach her @ Sunday School at St. Matthew Baptist Church on many occasions. I will miss her tremendously. I know she left a legacy of love, because she demonstrated well while she was here.
