Catherine Howett

Catherine was an amazing woman. I first met her when she was a graduate student and I was graduate coordinator at the University of Georgia School of Environmental Design. She was one of the most creative students I ever taught, with an imaginative sense of design, a strong appreciation of history, and a rare ability to write clearly and beautifully. Indeed a beautiful person whose creativity, life appreciation and pride in her family were shared with all, making our own worlds so much the better. I cannot believe that John has been gone for these many years - what a dynamic duo. Kathleen and I give thanks for having known the Howetts!
