Catherine A. Krock EASTON Catherine A. "Kate" Krock, 79, formerly of Easton, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Bethlehem Twp., PA. Kate was the wife of the late Elton W. Krock. She was born in Easton on Oct. 5, 1937, to the late William J. and Margaret (Daley) Gaughran. Kate worked in housekeeping for 18 years at ManorCare in Easton. She was a graduate of Wilson Area High School. Surviving are her children, Daniel J. of Wilson, PA; Susan L. (Carl A.) Michael of Hellertown, PA; Michael B. (Kathleen) of Hellertown; Matthew J. (Michele) of Wilson; Sandra J. (Louis J. DiFede) of Hellertown; Jacob W. (Alison) of Roseto, PA. She also leaves siblings, Ruth Ruch of Belfast, PA; Margaret Strauss of Easton; Barbara (Gerald) Rinehart of Belfast; Edward (Kathy) of Easton; Mary (Richard) Wagner of Easton; Anna Fritz of Easton, and sister-in-law, Linda of Easton. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Stephen, Michelle, Krystina, Monica, Jared, Mackenzie, Kayla, Joshua, Jacob Jr., and great- granddaughters, Grace and Sage. Kate was predeceased by a brother, William. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main St., Hellertown. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown Memorial Gardens. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at: heintzelmancares.com.
