She worked at John Morrells in Sioux Falls and Boeing Aircraft in Seattle. She was a member of First United Methodist Church for 101 years and a member of Sioux Valley Hospital Medical Auxiliary. Catherine was involved in sports because she had five brothers and was a tomboy. She recounted playing basketball at the court in the basement of the Methodist church and rowing the boat and fishing with her father W.I. My prayers and condolences to your family. Catherine was a spirited and strong lady whom I had the opportunity to get to know and be a caregiver thru the years. I will always remember that her greatest joy was her family - whether it be Sunday visits, trips for ice cream or a walleye lunch - and the phone calls from Marty when she wasn't able to say alot but she heard and her eyes sparkled. She was loved by all and will be missed.
